Uber Technologies, Inc. (UBER) reported strong growth across its diversified platforms in its second-quarter results. Gross bookings reached $58.02 billion, reflecting a 24% year-over-year increase, while trips increased by 18% to 3.87 billion. The Mobility segment generated $28.99 billion in bookings, a 22% year-over-year rise, though revenue was up only 1% to $7.36 billion. Meanwhile, the Delivery segment saw revenues climb 28% to $5.24 billion.

Uber’s concentration across three segments—Mobility (57% of revenues), Delivery (34%), and Freight (9%)—is reducing reliance on a single sector, providing resilience against market fluctuations. Monthly active platform users rose to 208 million, a 16% increase year-over-year, enhancing engagement and trip frequency, with monthly trips per consumer up 2%.

For cash flow in Q2, Uber generated $2.86 billion in operating cash flow and $2.79 billion in free cash flow, supporting its stock-buyback strategy and investments for future growth. As of the end of Q2, Uber reported $4.87 billion in cash and equivalents against long-term debt of $10.7 billion.
