The iShares U.S. Utilities ETF (IDU) experienced unusually high trading volume on Thursday, with over 805,000 shares exchanged compared to a three-month average of approximately 213,000 shares. As of the afternoon, shares were slightly down by 0.1%.
Among the ETF components, Pacific Gas & Electric led with over 10.9 million shares traded, rising about 0.9%. AES saw a decrease of about 1.9% on over 5 million shares. UGI was up approximately 1.1%, while Vistra declined by about 2.6%.
