**Arm Holdings’ Growth Potential in AI Inference**
Arm Holdings, a British technology company, is poised to become a key player in the AI inference market, driven by the increasing demand for energy-efficient chip designs. As enterprises seek to integrate AI into their operations, McKinsey projects that AI inference will dominate data centers by 2030, accounting for over half of all AI computing power and 30% to 40% of total data center compute demand.
Key developments for Arm include its introduction of the Arm AGI CPU, recently announced on March 24, which has already generated over $2 billion in customer demand for fiscal years 2027 and 2028—more than double initial projections. Arm expects this venture could drive annual revenue up to $15 billion by 2031, with overall revenue projected to reach $25 billion and earnings per share estimated at $9.00, significantly increasing from its fiscal 2026 earnings of $1.77 per share.
With a substantial growth trajectory ahead, Arm aims to capture 90% of the server CPU and custom AI processor markets over the next three years, making it a noteworthy contender in the evolving semiconductor industry.
