SpaceX’s Colossus Supercomputers to Drive Revenue Growth
SpaceX’s Colossus supercomputers are projected to generate over $25 billion in annual revenue by the end of 2026. Recent agreements with Anthropic and Alphabet will bring in approximately $15 billion and $920 million per month, respectively, significantly boosting the company’s bottom line.
In the first quarter of 2026, SpaceX reported a revenue of $4.7 billion and an operating loss of $1.9 billion. However, new deals are expected to more than double revenue from $18.7 billion in 2024. The Anthropic deal alone entails renting out over 300 megawatts of computing capacity, translating to roughly $1.25 billion per month until May 2029.
SpaceX’s AI segment, bolstered by its merger with xAI, has been a considerable expense, but the lucrative rental agreements provide a much-needed revenue stream and highlight the competitive advantage of the Colossus infrastructure.
