The Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta Emerging Markets Equity ETF (GEM) experienced unusually high trading volume on Thursday, with over 1.6 million shares exchanged, surpassing its three-month average of approximately 160,000 shares. The ETF’s share price increased by about 0.7% for the day.
Notably, NU Holdings contributed significantly to this surge with over 10.9 million shares traded, rising by 0.6%. Tencent Music Entertainment Group also saw a notable increase of 2.3%, with more than 3.8 million shares changing hands. Credicorp stood out with the highest gain of approximately 5.8%, while Southern Copper lagged, decreasing by about 0.2%.
