Unusual Trading Activity in FCOM ETF on Thursday

The Fidelity MSCI Communication Services Index ETF (FCOM) experienced significant trading activity on Thursday, with over 1.8 million shares exchanged, drastically surpassing its three-month average of approximately 201,000 shares. The ETF rose by 0.4% during the day.

Key components driving the volume included Space Exploration Technologies, which saw an increase of 2.6% with over 66.7 million shares traded, and Warner Bros. Discovery, up by 1% on over 14 million shares. Reddit was the top performer among components, gaining 6.5%, while Cogent Communications Holdings lagged, down 6.8%.
