The iShares Russell Top 200 ETF (IWL) experienced unusually high trading volume on Tuesday, with over 167,000 shares exchanged, significantly above its three-month average of approximately 61,000 shares. As of midday, the ETF’s shares were down about 0.8%.
Key components driving this volume included Nvidia, which saw more than 83.4 million shares traded and was down about 3%. Paypal Holdings also faced a substantial drop of 19.5%, with over 75 million shares changing hands. Conversely, Southern Copper reported a strong performance, rising approximately 11% on the day.
