The Vanguard Information Technology ETF (VGT) experienced significantly higher trading volume on Tuesday, with over 2.1 million shares exchanged, surpassing its three-month average of about 400,000 shares. As of Tuesday afternoon, shares of VGT decreased by approximately 2.2%.
Key components of the ETF included Nvidia, which traded down by 2.9% with over 100.8 million shares changing hands, and Intel (INTC), down 3% on volume exceeding 74.9 million shares. Commvault Systems saw a notable increase, rising about 12.3%, while Vistance Networks fell sharply, down around 48.1%.
