**Value Line, Inc. Reports Significant Earnings Decline**
Value Line, Inc. (Ticker: VALU) announced its first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings on July 31, 2026, reporting earnings per share of 50 cents, down 27.5% from 69 cents in the same quarter last year. The company’s net income fell 27.9% to $4.7 million from $6.5 million, while total publishing revenues decreased 6.4% year-over-year to $8.1 million.
The firm also noted a significant decline in assets managed by Eulav Asset Management, dropping 32.2% to $3.4 billion compared to $5 billion a year earlier. Despite a quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share and a stock price increase of 4.3% post-earnings report, overall business metrics, including investment periodicals revenues, declined by 6%.
As of July 31, 2026, Value Line’s total assets stood at $152.7 million, with net cash from operating activities down to $4.7 million from $5.6 million a year prior.
