Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett has significantly changed his investment strategy towards the tech sector, with two AI companies comprising approximately 22% of Berkshire’s $279 billion public stock holdings. As of now, Apple alone represents 21.2% of Buffett’s portfolio, although Berkshire has sold 605 million shares in the past year, leaving it with 300 million shares. This reflects concerns over Apple’s competitive position in AI relative to companies like Nvidia and Microsoft.

Despite being limited to just 0.7% of Berkshire’s portfolio, Amazon is investing over $100 billion in its AI platform by 2025, maintaining a dominant market share of 30% in cloud services. CEO Andy Jassy emphasized that AI presents a major opportunity, akin to the shift towards cloud computing, which could further enhance Amazon’s business landscape.
