Regional Banking ETFs Surge While Clean Energy Funds Retreat

On Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF is leading the pack of ETFs with a remarkable increase of about 12.1%. Notably, Axos Financial has shown exceptional strength, climbing about 18.9%, while Kearny Financial is also performing well, rising about 17.7%.

In contrast, the iShares Global Clean Energy ETF is struggling today, experiencing a decline of roughly 7.4% in afternoon trading. This downturn is particularly evident in shares of Sunrun, which have fallen about 28.4%, and Plug Power, which is down approximately 23.6%.
