The iShares S&P Mid-Cap 400 Growth ETF (IJK) experienced unusually high trading volume on Wednesday, with over 1.5 million shares traded compared to its three-month average of approximately 236,000 shares. The ETF’s shares rose about 0.8% during the trading session.
Notable components within the ETF included Chewy, which saw an increase of approximately 13.4% with over 14.6 million shares traded, and Hims & Hers Health, which decreased by about 1.6% on a volume exceeding 10.4 million shares. Bentley Systems lagged behind, trading down by about 4.5%.
