The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Asia ETF (EEMA) recorded unusually high trading volume on Wednesday, with over 361,000 shares exchanged, significantly surpassing its three-month average of approximately 33,000 shares. The ETF’s shares increased by about 1.8% during the session.
Among the ETF’s components, NIO saw over 37.4 million shares traded, climbing approximately 0.9%, while Iqiyi experienced a 0.6% rise with more than 5.2 million shares changing hands. PDD Holdings was the standout performer, up about 2%, contrasting with Kanzhun, which fell by about 3.1%.
