In trading on Thursday, the Invesco Semiconductors ETF surged by approximately 3.2%, outperforming other ETFs. Key contributors to this rise included Texas Instruments, which increased by 18.4%, and ON Semiconductor, which gained 10.5%.
Conversely, the VanEck Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF fell by about 4.1% in the same session. Notable declines within this ETF were seen in MP Materials, which dropped 4.7%, and Lithium Americas, down 4.3%.
