Wheat futures showed mixed results on Wednesday, September 25, with Chicago soft red wheat up 3 to 4 cents while Kansas City hard red wheat declined slightly. Chicago SRW closed at $5.41 1/4, up 3 1/4 cents; KC HRW closed at $5.22 3/4, down 1 cent.
The USDA is set to release its Export Sales report on Thursday, predicting wheat bookings for 2025/26 between 300,000 and 700,000 metric tons. Additionally, Algeria’s OAIC purchased up to 1 million metric tons of milling wheat, while a Taiwan importer bought 89,650 metric tons from the US. FranceAgriMer forecasts French soft wheat ending stocks at 3.87 million metric tons, up from 2.33 million metric tons last year.
