As of Tuesday’s midday trading, the wheat complex shows a mixed performance. Chicago SRW futures remain fractionally mixed, while KC HRW futures have increased by 1 to 2 cents in nearby trades. MPLS spring wheat is trading steady to slightly lower.
European Commission data indicates that 12.38 million metric tons (MMT) of wheat were shipped from July 1 to January 23, representing a slight decrease of 0.06 MMT compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, SovEcon estimates Russian wheat exports for 2025/26 at 45.7 MMT, adjusting for an increase of 1.1 MMT.
