The markets are set to close on Friday for Independence Day.
The USDA’s weekly Export Sales report revealed that 2025/26 wheat sales totaled 585,989 metric tons for the week ending June 26, exceeding Reuters’ forecast of 200,000 to 600,000 metric tons and marking a marketing year high. The Philippines was the largest buyer, purchasing 162,000 metric tons, followed by Thailand with 60,000 metric tons. Additionally, census data showed that wheat exports reached 2.16 million metric tons (79.4 million bushels) in May, the highest in four years.
In market closures, July 25 CBOT Wheat closed at $5.56½ (up ½ cent), September 25 CBOT Wheat at $5.62¼ (down 1¾ cents), July 25 KCBT Wheat at $5.23 (up ¼ cent), and August 25 MGEX Wheat at $6.31¾ (unchanged).
