Wheat Prices Hold Steady at Noon

Wheat futures are mixed as of Thursday midday, with Chicago SRW futures showing fractional gains, Kansas City HRW contracts down 1-2 cents, and Minneapolis spring wheat futures also down 1-2 cents.

The USDA’s Export Sales report indicates net reductions of 49,114 MT for the last week of the 2024/25 marketing year, amid estimates of 200,000 MT to 100,000 MT in sales. New crop sales were recorded at 444,857 MT, the lower half of estimates of 300,000 to 800,000 MT, with significant purchases from unknown destinations (140,500 MT), Nigeria (131,000 MT), and Mexico (108,400 MT).

Additionally, monthly wheat exports for April reached 2.198 MMT, marking a four-year high and a 22.17% increase from March totals.
