Wheat futures saw significant gains on Wednesday, with Chicago SRW rising by 16 to 17 cents, KC HRW increasing by 22 to 33 cents, and MPLS spring wheat up by 15 to 16 cents. Notably, the May 26 CBOT Wheat prices reached $6.06 1/2, while July futures hit $6.17 1/4.
Looking ahead, much of the Plains from Nebraska to Texas is expected to remain dry, with some precipitation anticipated in SRW areas. Meanwhile, export sales data set to be released Thursday is projected to show wheat sales between 300,000 MT and 550,000 MT for the week of March 12.
