Shares of Robinhood Markets, Inc. HOOD surged in today’s pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.

Robinhood reported fourth-quarter revenue of $471 million, up 24% year-over-year, surpassing the Street consensus estimate of $456.8 million, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Additionally, the company reported earnings per share of 3 cents, surpassing a Street consensus estimate of a loss of 1 cent per share.

The news led to a 13.8% jump in Robinhood shares, to $13.47 in pre-market trading.
