Tesla is set to construct its largest Supercharger station to date, with plans submitted for over 400 charging stalls in Yermo, California, along Interstate 15. The expansion will enhance the existing Eddie World Supercharger facility, which currently has 22 older chargers, by adding 72 V4 stalls in the first phase later this year.
This new site, strategically located between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, will surpass the existing largest Supercharger location, “Project Oasis,” which has 164 stalls. The area already includes over 200 high-power charging stalls but frequently experiences congestion during peak travel times. The full scope of the project will also integrate amenities such as retail and dining options, catering to the growing demand for EV infrastructure.
