**Baytex Energy Corp.** (BTE) will release its fourth-quarter 2025 results on March 4, with the Zacks Consensus Estimate predicting earnings of 2 cents per share and revenues of $545.6 million. The previous quarter saw the Calgary-based company report adjusted earnings of 3 cents per share and revenues of $634 million, surpassing estimates by 18%.
In the third quarter, Baytex achieved a record production of 10,185 barrels of oil equivalent per day, marking a 53% sequential increase. However, management has lowered its 2025 free cash flow outlook to approximately C$300 million, down from C$400 million, due to anticipated lower commodity prices in the second half of the year. The third-quarter average WTI price was about $65 per barrel, with projections of $60 for the upcoming quarter, contributing to a year-over-year revenue decline of 16.5%.
