YouTube, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., reported that its creative ecosystem contributed $55 billion to the U.S. GDP in 2024, reflecting a $20 billion increase from 2022.

The ecosystem also created 490,000 full-time jobs, up from 390,000 in 2022. This information was released on Tuesday in a report conducted with Oxford Economics.

Additionally, a bipartisan Congressional Creators Caucus was launched by Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) and Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) to support the interests of the creator community amid ongoing challenges regarding access to financial resources.
