In early trading on Monday, shares of Tesla topped the list of the day’s best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 11.4%. Year to date, Tesla has lost about 24.5% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is NVIDIA, trading down 2.4%. NVIDIA is showing a gain of 72.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Alphabet, trading down 2.3%, and Sirius XM Holdings, trading up 3.8% on the day.
