Amazon Surges While Apple Slips in Early Trading
Amazon.com Leads Dow Gains; Apple Struggles to Keep Up
In early trading on Friday, shares of Amazon.com stood out among the Dow Jones Industrial Average components, rising by 6.5%. So far this year, Amazon.com has achieved an impressive 30.7% increase.
Conversely, Apple has become the worst performer in the Dow for the day, with shares trading down 1.2%. Despite this recent dip, Apple maintains a 15.9% gain year to date.
Other noteworthy movements include Visa, which is trading down 0.8%, and Chevron, experiencing a gain of 4.4% today.
