Aerospace Gains Shine While Copper Miners Falter

A notable rise in iShares U.S. Aerospace & Defense ETF highlights strong performers

In Friday’s trading, the iShares U.S. Aerospace & Defense ETF outshone its peers, climbing approximately 2.8%. Strong performances from certain companies lifted this ETF, with Axon Enterprise increasing by about 16.6% and Archer Aviation rising by around 13.1%.

Meanwhile, the Copper Miners ETF struggled, falling roughly 5.8% in afternoon trading. Among the weakest stocks within this ETF were First Quantum Minerals, dropping nearly 8.5%, and Hudbay Minerals, which fell about 7.6%.
