Unexpected Volume Highlights Key Market Movements
The First Trust WCM International Equity ETF experienced an unusual spike in trading on Tuesday afternoon, with over 194,000 shares exchanged. This stands in stark contrast to its three-month average of approximately 25,000 shares. Currently, shares of WCMI have dropped about 1.3% for the day.
On Tuesday, the ETF’s components exhibiting the highest trading volumes included Exxon Mobil, which fell approximately 1.4%, seeing more than 5.6 million shares traded. Nike also faced a decline of around 1.5%, with over 3.8 million shares moving. However, Accenture stood out positively, rising by about 0.6% during the day.
