Valued at a market cap of $16.1 billion, Pentair plc (PNR) is a leading global provider of water treatment and sustainable water solutions. The company, based in London, designs and manufactures products that enhance the management and quality of water across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure applications.

Pentair has outperformed the broader market in the past 52 weeks. Shares of PNR have surged 15% during this period, while the S&P 500 Index ($SPX) has gained 11.5%. However, YTD, PNR is down 2.8%, lagging behind the SPX’s slight uptick.

Looking forward, the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2025 adjusted EPS guidance of $4.65 to $4.80, reflecting an anticipated growth of approximately 7% to 11% from 2024. Revenue outlook remains steady, with expectations of flat to around 2% growth. This tariff preparedness, coupled with robust earnings growth, could strengthen investor confidence.

For the current fiscal year ending in December, analysts project PNR’s EPS will grow 9.7% year-over-year to $4.75. The company has a promising earnings surprise history, outperforming consensus estimates in each of the past four quarters.
