Corn Sees Strong Gains to End Tuesday’s Trading

Corn futures ended the trading session on Tuesday, with contracts rising by 2.5 to 4.5 cents. The CmdtyView national average cash corn price increased by 2.25 cents, reaching $3.80 1/4.

The USDA announced a private export sale of 122,947 MT of corn to Mexico, with 100,593 MT designated for the 2025/26 marketing year and 22,354 MT for 2026/27.

As of now, 91% of the corn crop is dented and 56% is mature, with an 11% harvest completion rate, matching the average pace. Corn conditions slipped 1% to 66% rated good/excellent, while the Brugler500 index fell by 2 points to 370.
