Myriad Uranium (CSE: M) has doubled the size of its Copper Mountain project in Wyoming from 9,439 acres to 18,351 acres after recent geophysical surveys indicated uranium anomalies in previously untested areas. The company announced this expansion on Tuesday, integrating new survey data with historical geological insights to identify key targets.
The Bendix Field Engineering study conducted for the U.S. Department of Energy in 1982 estimated uranium resources at Copper Mountain of approximately 655 million pounds of uranium oxide equivalent (eU₃O₈) to a depth of 600 feet within an assessment area. Myriad now controls about 62% of this area and 80% of a more focused control area, positioning itself as a significant player in the U.S. uranium market. The company holds a 75% interest in the project, acquired through an option agreement with Rush Rare Metals.
