Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) reported a substantial increase in its first quarter earnings on Thursday, with profits rising to $26.77 billion, or $10.44 per share, up from $16.64 billion, or $6.43 per share, during the same period last year.
The company’s revenue surged by 33.1%, reaching $56.31 billion compared to $42.31 billion a year prior. For the upcoming quarter, Meta provided a revenue guidance of $58 billion to $61 billion.
