Nvidia Partners with Japan on AI Infrastructure

Nvidia has announced a significant partnership with Japan, committing to supply 27,500 chips to support the country’s development of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. This initiative aims to launch a computing hub in 2028, integrating AI with robotics to enhance machine interaction with their environment.

During an event in Tokyo, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized Japan’s need to develop its own national intelligence, stating, “Japan must own, improve, secure, and deploy Japan AI.” The move aligns with forecasts predicting Japan’s AI market will expand from $15.6 billion in 2025 to $123.9 billion by 2032.

The Global X Robotics and Artificial Intelligence ETF (NASDAQ: BOTZ), which includes significant investments in Japanese companies such as Keyence and Fanuc, may present opportunities for investors looking to capitalize on this emerging sector.
