Intel Leverages ASML Technology for CPU Production

Intel is utilizing ASML’s high-NA extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines to mass-produce Panther Lake client CPUs as of July 15, 2026. This comes after Intel faced challenges meeting demand for its CPUs in Q1 of this year. With the increase in production, Intel predicts output of Panther Lake CPUs will rise six to seven times in Q2 compared to Q1.

Intel’s projected Q2 revenue stands at $14.3 billion, reflecting an 11% year-over-year growth, along with an expected non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.20. The company aims to address its client computing segment, which reported $7.7 billion in Q1 revenue but showed only a 1% increase year-over-year. Analysts anticipate that improved output could position Intel for a strong earnings report on July 23, 2026.
