Among the components of the Russell 3000 index, Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) reported a significant options trading volume of 324,741 contracts today, equating to about 32.5 million underlying shares. This figure represents approximately 77.5% of PLTR’s average daily trading volume of 41.9 million shares over the past month. Notably, the $130 strike call option expiring on July 24, 2026, alone accounted for 19,477 contracts, or roughly 1.9 million shares.

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (CLF) also experienced robust trading activity with 145,827 contracts traded, representing around 14.6 million underlying shares, which is 74.1% of its average daily volume of 19.7 million shares. The $12 strike call option expiring on July 24, 2026, generated particularly high interest with 21,986 contracts traded today.

In addition, Herc Holdings Inc. (HRI) saw 3,833 contracts changing hands, corresponding to approximately 383,300 underlying shares, and making up about 70.2% of its average daily volume of 546,200 shares. The $150 strike call option expiring on August 21, 2026, was notably active with 1,881 contracts traded.
