**Nebius Group’s Stock Surge Driven by Nvidia Stake**
Shares of Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS), a neocloud infrastructure provider, increased nearly 19% on July 21, 2026, following the revelation that Nvidia holds a 9.3% equity stake in the company, valued at over $5 billion. Nvidia’s strategic investment, which includes a $2 billion funding announced in March, aims to enhance Nebius’s capacity to deploy more than 5 gigawatts of AI data center resources by the end of the decade. Since Nvidia’s backing, Nebius’s stock has appreciated over 67%.
Operating in a sector projected to generate over $53 billion in revenue by 2030, Nebius reported $878 million in revenue over the past twelve months. Analysts anticipate that the company’s revenue could increase as much as 7x in the next two years, potentially lifting its market cap to $110 billion by 2028. Despite a current sales multiple of 57, significantly higher than the Nasdaq Composite’s average of 5.1, industry growth may justify its valuation.
