Among the Russell 3000 index components, Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS) recorded significant options trading today, with 35,829 contracts exchanged, amounting to approximately 3.6 million underlying shares. This figure represents about 75.3% of LVS’s average daily trading volume of 4.8 million shares over the past month. Notably, the $50 strike call option expiring on September 18, 2026, saw 15,481 contracts traded, equating to roughly 1.5 million underlying shares.

NRG Energy Inc (NRG) also experienced high options activity, with 15,810 contracts traded, representing roughly 1.6 million underlying shares, or 63.9% of its average daily trading volume of 2.5 million shares. The $190 strike call option, expiring on September 18, 2026, accounted for 5,036 contracts, or about 503,600 underlying shares.

Duolingo Inc (DUOL) reported options trading of 6,362 contracts today, equivalent to approximately 636,200 underlying shares, which is 60.6% of its average daily trading volume of 1.0 million shares. The $150 strike call option expiring on July 31, 2026, had 853 contracts traded, representing around 85,300 underlying shares.
