Apple Faces Supply Challenges Amid Strong Sales
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) reported a revenue increase of 16% year-over-year, reaching $109 billion for its fiscal Q3 ending June 27, 2026. iPhone sales surged by 22% to $54 billion, and Mac sales rose by 29% to $10 billion, largely attributed to the launch of the affordable MacBook Neo. Earnings climbed to $2.02 per share, exceeding Wall Street’s estimate of $1.94.
However, the company indicated supply shortages and rising component costs could hinder future sales. CFO Kevan Parekh warned that demand for iPhones and Macs had exceeded forecasts, affecting the supply chain. Management projects revenue growth of 9% to 11%, falling short of the anticipated 12% increase.
