Apple Reports Strong Q3 Results Amid CEO Transition
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) announced its third-quarter financial results for fiscal year 2026, revealing a revenue of $109.4 billion, a 16% increase year-over-year, and earnings per share of $2.02, up 29% from the previous year. The quarter ended on June 27, marking the last full quarter under CEO Tim Cook, who will step down on September 1. His successor, John Ternus, will take over the leadership.
During this quarter, Apple achieved an all-time high installed base, with approximately 2.5 billion active devices in circulation. The company continues to generate a significant ecosystem of users, which it plans to monetize further. Despite a dip in share price following the earnings announcement, primarily due to weak guidance linked to supply constraints, analysts remain optimistic about Apple’s long-term prospects and growth potential.
