Soybean prices fell on Tuesday as weaker products and crude oil pressure impacted the market, with near-term contracts down by 15 cents. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price decreased by 13.75 cents, settling at $11.34. Soymeal futures also declined, dropping between $1.20 to $3.20, while soy oil saw losses ranging from 18 to 62 points. The USDA reported sales of 132,000 metric tons of 2026/27 soybeans to China.
In the latest Crop Progress report, soybean condition ratings remained steady at 63% good/excellent. Notable shifts included a 9-point drop in Kansas and Nebraska, while improvements were recorded in states like Illinois and Indiana. The Brugler500 index held at 363. StoneX estimated the 2026 U.S. soybean crop at 4.47 billion bushels with a yield of 53 bushels per acre. June export data showed the largest June total in four years at 1.917 million metric tons, down 14.35% from May.
