Wednesday Highlights in Options Trading: SNDK, DAL, EXPE

Among the S&P 500 index components, notable options trading was highlighted today for several companies. SanDisk Corp (SNDK) saw trading of 113,998 contracts, amounting to approximately 11.4 million underlying shares, or 69.6% of its average daily trading volume of 16.4 million shares. The $1400 strike call option expiring August 7, 2026, accounted for 3,454 contracts representing 345,400 underlying shares.

Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL) also observed significant activity with 46,214 contracts traded, equating to around 4.6 million underlying shares, or 68.8% of its average daily volume of 6.7 million shares. The $98 strike call option expiring August 7, 2026, was particularly active with 33,315 contracts traded, representing 3.3 million underlying shares.

Expedia Group Inc (EXPE) reported trading of 10,475 contracts, or approximately 1.0 million underlying shares, constituting 67.1% of its average daily volume of 1.6 million shares. The $300 strike put option expiring September 18, 2026, saw 2,120 contracts traded, representing about 212,000 underlying shares.
