Cotton futures saw losses ranging from 60 to 66 points on Monday, October 26, with October contracts at 82.56 cents, December at 83.77 cents, and March 2027 at 85.58 cents. Meanwhile, crude oil prices rose by $3.44 per barrel, and the US dollar index increased by $0.232.
On August 7, The Seam reported the sale of 246 bales of cotton, averaging 81.82 cents per pound, while the Cotlook A Index rose by 20 points to 93.70 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks remained steady at 84,632 bales, and the Adjusted World Price increased by 163 points to 66.29 cents per pound.
