Intuit Inc. (INTU) is expanding its mid-market strategy by enhancing its QuickBooks Online Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES) to cater to larger, fast-growing businesses and complex multi-entity organizations. Key innovations include the Intuit Intelligence Chat, enabling finance teams to use natural language for financial reporting, budget analysis, and workflow initiation.

Intuit aims to automate accounting tasks with new capabilities in IES for multi-entity accounting and consolidation. QuickBooks Online Advanced will also introduce AI bookkeeping and real-time business intelligence solutions across industries like construction and manufacturing, targeting a broader market and increasing retention and revenue potential. Currently, Intuit’s shares have risen 18.5% in the last month and trade at a Price/Sales ratio of 3.83, below the industry average of 6.21.

In contrast, competitors like Oracle and Microsoft are also advancing their AI capabilities: Oracle’s Q4 fiscal 2026 revenue rose 21% year-over-year to $19.2 billion while Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 saw a 19% revenue increase in the same period, emphasizing the competitive landscape as Intuit enhances its offerings.
