IBM (International Business Machines Corporation) has entered a multi-year agreement worth $240 million with Together AI to enhance its enterprise artificial intelligence infrastructure. The partnership is set to expand IBM’s cloud offerings for open-source AI workloads and strengthen its presence in the burgeoning AI infrastructure market.

As part of this deal, IBM will deploy a large cluster of NVIDIA’s NVDA HGX B300 systems on IBM Cloud, allowing Together AI to utilize enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure powered by NVIDIA technologies for high-performance AI inference. This initiative aims to make large-scale AI workloads more cost-effective and improve performance, flexibility, and scalability for enterprises.

Currently, IBM’s stock has seen a 0.5% decline over the past year, contrasted with the industry’s growth of 190.8%. The company’s forward price-to-sales ratio stands at 3.07, below the industry average of 5.32.
