Salesforce, Inc. reported significant growth in its Agentforce division, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding $1.5 billion in Q2 of fiscal 2027, marking an increase of over 240% year-over-year. The combined ARR for Agentforce and Data 360 reached nearly $3.9 billion, reflecting a 210% rise. Overall revenues for Salesforce in the same quarter reached $11.3 billion, a year-over-year increase of 11%, which contributed to the upward revision of its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to between $46.10 billion and $46.40 billion.
In addition, Salesforce recorded 3.2 billion Agentic Work Units in Q2, a 97% sequential growth, indicating strong customer adoption of AI-powered tools. The company’s subscription and support revenues rose by 12% to $10.8 billion, with remaining performance obligations up 14% to $33.5 billion, signaling robust future demand.
In comparison, Salesforce’s competitors, Microsoft and Oracle, are also making strides in AI. Microsoft’s Copilot and Azure AI offerings have surpassed 30 million paid seats, while Oracle’s AI database revenues surged 404% year-over-year. Salesforce’s stock has declined 6% year-to-date, trading at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 15.67, considerably below the industry average of 28.13.
