Market Overview of Major Tech Companies
The three largest companies globally are Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), valued at $5.4 trillion, followed by Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) at $4.6 trillion, and Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG, GOOGL) at $4 trillion. Microsoft stands fourth at $3.65 trillion, and Amazon fifth at $2.7 trillion.
Nvidia’s growth is propelled by soaring demand for its GPU computing units, with projections indicating 70% revenue growth next year, driven by an estimated $800 billion in capital expenditures from major AI hyperscalers in 2023, expected to rise to $1.3 trillion in 2024. Alphabet, alongside spending around $200 billion on data centers this year, is estimated to have an 82% increase in revenue from its Google Cloud division last quarter.
In contrast, Apple’s growth is projected at a slower rate of 10% for 2027, complicated by rising component prices, which might impact its future performance. Analysts suggest that Nvidia and Alphabet hold more promising outlooks compared to Apple’s current valuation amid these growth forecasts.
