Investment Moves by Ark Funds
Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has made significant investments in two major tech stocks. On September 9, 2026, two Ark ETFs purchased a combined $27.9 million worth of Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), despite the stock trading 18% below its all-time high. Meta’s second-quarter revenue saw a year-over-year increase of 28%, largely driven by AI enhancements in its advertising business.
Additionally, between August 31 and September 8, 2026, three Ark ETFs invested approximately $45 million in Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB), as the company’s CEO described launch demand as “extreme.” Rocket Lab has reported a 62% increase in revenue year-over-year and holds a substantial backlog of $2.36 billion.
Ark’s commitment comes amid mixed performances in its funds. The flagship ARK Innovation ETF has risen about 9% so far in 2026, while four of its ETFs have outperformed the S&P 500 over the last three years.
