Apple’s streaming service, Apple TV, achieved a milestone at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards with 29 wins, making it the most awarded network. The series Widow’s Bay secured 14 awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, marking it as the most Emmy-awarded freshman comedy in history. Overall, Apple Originals have amassed 917 wins and 3,827 nominations since the platform’s launch.

Apple’s Services revenue reached a record of $30.74 billion in the June quarter, up 12% year over year, bolstered by the record viewership and double-digit growth in video revenues. The total number of paid subscriptions exceeded 1.5 billion, supported by a base of over 2.5 billion active devices.

Despite Apple TV’s success, the streaming market remains competitive, with major players like Netflix and Disney offering extensive content and services. Netflix serves nearly one billion people and has about 330 million subscriptions, while Disney leverages its franchises through platforms like Disney+ and Hulu.
