Delta Air Lines (DAL) plans its largest-ever summer schedule for 2027 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), with over 200 daily departures to nearly 70 destinations. Key additions include new nonstop services to Monterey beginning Dec. 19, 2026, and Philadelphia starting June 7, 2027, along with increased frequency to several U.S. destinations.
The airline’s expansion is backed by a $2.3 billion investment aimed at enhancing passenger experience, featuring an upgraded Sky Way connecting Terminals 2 and 3 and a new 11,000-square-foot Sky Club set to open in 2027. Delta employs over 4,500 people in the region and partners with more than 25 local organizations.
Delta’s stock has increased by 35.2% over the past year, compared to the airline industry’s growth of 0.6%. The company currently holds a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
