Canadian Natural Resources’ (NYSE:CNQ) production is on fire! In December, they surged ahead with a total oil and gas production from Alberta wells, smashing records going back to 2018, as reported by Bloomberg on Monday.
Revel in their triumph! Canadian Natural’s (CNQ) masterful output in the province soared by a staggering 2.3% to 703,330 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The elation doesn’t stop there; with oil output joyfully rocketing to 437,757 barrels per day, its highest level since September. Meanwhile, natural gas production exhilaratingly reached a crescendo at a record 1.593 billion cubic feet per day. This report, citing data from Alberta Energy Regulator on the Petrinex website, paints a picture of unbridled success for Canadian Natural Resources’ Alberta operations.
But that’s not all. We’re basking in the glow of Suncor Energy’s (SU) victorious expansion as well. Their total production from wells gloriously surged by 6.7% to 259,896 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Their oil output, soaring to 259,033 barrels per day, reached its peak performance since March.
Cenovus Energy’s (CVE) December production from wells – except for oil sands mines – took the second spot in the province, feverishly pushing past 635,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Even though the oil output dipped slightly to about 500,000 barrels per day, the seismic impact of Cenovus Energy’s feat still reverberates.
Tourmaline Energy (OTCPK:TRMLF) joined the symphony of success as Alberta’s second most prolific gas producer in December, harmoniously trailing Canadian Natural (CNQ) with 1.429 billion cubic feet per day. The story of Canadian Natural Resources’ record-breaking performance in December is shared with exuberant admiration.
