rose sharply during Thursday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued FY24 guidance.

Eaton posted adjusted earnings of $2.55 per share, beating market estimates of $2.47 per share. The company’s quarterly sales came in at $5.97 billion versus expectations of $5.91 billion, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Eaton shares gained 6.2% to $261.48 on Thursday.
